Allison jones she/ her/ hers

Allison Jones is an alumna of VCUarts and achieved summa cum laude in several ASL programs offered by J. Sargent Reynolds.  She holds a Virginia credential and is working towards national certification.

Nine years ago, she was drawn to ASL because generational late-deafness runs in her family.  During quarantine, she began to use her time to self-educate on Haptics Communication, specifically using the Helen Keller National Center’s publication to do so.  She is part of the first cohort of the SSP Pilot Project in Virginia and was a presenter at the RID 2023 National Conference.

These days you'll find her handling our social media and interpreting for Mosaic.  Allison is an athletic competitor in the NWBA and enjoys thrift store shopping.
