Despite having over eighteen years experience, Heather is filled with surprise that she still gets to have fun while "working" as an interpreter. In 2006, she wasn't sure what opportunities might be available other than K-12 settings, but she took a chance and earned an AAS in Interpreting- which led to a career more challenging and fulfilling than she anticipated!
Heather holds NIC credentials and has settled with her family in the Richmond, Virginia area, making RVA home. She loves dancing, learning, and is passionate about supporting orphans and vulnerable children, both locally and around the world.
